Burned Nerves or Chiropractor | Easy Choice for this Oakland Pitcher
I seem to be a little more concerned for injured Oakland A’s pitcher, Justin Duchscherer, then he is for himself, according to this injury update by the San Jose Mercury News.
They’re going to do a procedure where they actually burn the nerves, kill the nerve endings, so my pain just doesn’t get there,” Duchscherer said.
A’s head trainer Steve Sayles told him that he can throw whenever he feels capable of doing so after the procedure.
“It could be a day, it could be a week,” Duchscherer said. “It’s how I respond.”
That registers as good news for the A’s, who like their rotation if everyone comes out of camp healthy.
Nothing to see here, just a happy guy waiting to get his NERVES BURNED in order to play baseball. I love to think that he has attempted care from a chiropractor before he and the team decided to go have the nerves in his SI joint BURNED.
I am unsure it is possible find a better reason to see a chiropractor for back pain other then to avoid having NERVES BURNED in your back.
What on earth is going on here? Does this sound like a reasonable solution? This temporary fix to mask the root cause of his problem will lead to nothing but more injuries, back pain, and a shortened career.
This I guess couldn’t make the Oakland A’s happier.
I realize we are talking about a multimillion dollar athlete, but he is also a person that deserves better then having his NERVES BURNED. No big deal. That’s all. Burned nerves.
