Curious What the Markup for Pharamceutical Drugs Are?

Posted on 03.22.10 |

Chiropractor and Drug Profit reviewAfter reading about the $80,000,000,000, 10 year drug pact that the gub’ment and BigPharma made in June 2009 for the proposed health care reform, I decided to look into the markup and percentage gains on commonly used medications.

It was easier to find then I thought it would be thanks to Globalresearch.ca, which had some great examples of what i was looking for.

In a place that values capitalism and profits, I cannot think of another industry that seems to be doing quite as well.

I have heard the excuses about the costs of the drugs that make it, have to pay for the drugs and research that do not. Well I don’t buy it. Maybe drug companies can cut a few of their billion dollar per year ad campaigns, and stop gouging the public and government.

An even better idea is if people start eating right, exercising, and visit a chiropractor to allow for optimal nervous system function, but that would be too cheap, easy, and effective.

One of the most apparent things that I see in these numbers, are the drug companies have ZERO incentive to helping people get well, stay well, and live a drug free life. Where would their 500,000%+ profit go?
