One word describes my Seattle Chiropractor Challenge update today: Ouch.
Legs and Back was a bear, but am so glad I got through it. Working out your legs is one of the most important things you can do to improve your athletic performance, add muscle mass. Adding muscle mass to your frame increases the ability of your body to burn calories.
Overall, the week went very well workout wise. I realized I have to work out in the afternoon on Fridays, because I have zero motivation to exercise when I get home at 7:30pm. I’ve started to play street hockey again, so I rarely do a double workout, and have to figure out exactly where running around for a few hours will suffice for one of the routines.
I am going to weigh myself at the end of the week, and I hope to be at about 200-205lbs. I am not concerned about my weight, but I know as I lose some of it my training will get easier, so I am motivated by that.
Also need to get adjusted tomorrow by my friendly neighborhood chiropractor…my dad or sis.
