This week was a struggle. Could be the time change. Might be the carbohydrate reduction. It even could be finding out that your son loves to do the things that you cried about as a kid. With all that being said, I am still bringing it, even if it has been a big struggle to make it through Yoga and Plyometrics.
You have to start somewhere.
My diet change has been very positive, and already feel changes going on. None of this should come as a surprise since I have four rounds of P90X under my belt, and stuck to a near perfect diet for two years, but it’s good to have those reminders sometimes.
Gordon is kicking butt at Tae Kwon Do. Since we switched him to Wednesday afternoons, I have been able to go watch our mini version of Chuck Norris. I really do like to think I had his will power as a kid, but I was terrible at listening, taking directions, and figuring out instructions. Something Gordon is thriving at, so we are very proud. King of the Demo.
I will be doing Back and Legs tomorrow, so please wish me luck. I am also going to up my workouts to double workout schedule including a run. It’s a must since I am not accomplishing the full extent of non-weight workouts, so I have to push my body a little harder.
Bring it.
