Well the first annual Seattle Street Hockey East vs. West game went off without a hitch. It was a hard battled event, but had less intensity than the Canada Vs. USA annual game. Melding the teams this way made the game a tad friendlier, and the best of 5 series ended up a lot closer.
With the series tied 2-2, the East blew out the West in the final game 5-0. It was three straight hours of intense hockey, and am glad I was able to play. I did play for the West team, even though I was born in St. John, NB, but I have always considered myself a westerner.
I believe it has been confirmed that the Canada vs USA game will be held on June 5th.
Anyways, here are some photos. Kate did a great job snapping them.
